From some small country somewhere in South Moravia, from hooligan boy who want to smash everyone he become humble samurai who became the champion. I like how when Jiri wins via KO or sub he doesn't show emotion by jumping up and down. He just turns walks away, respectful, badass.

Yes, and his last loss happened when he had 2nd fight that day. Before he lost he TKOed the current Bellator champion Nemkov who no one else (T)KOed.

I REALLY wanna see Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira if Jiri beats Glover again next month. Poatan vs Denisa has pure TNT written on it. Two fighters with Ancient Warrior vibes going toe to toe is too fun to pass up, plus they are both very dangerous and powerful strikers that like to bang with two totally contrasting styles but both like to pressure their opponents.

We all hope this man is champion for a long, long time.

@@-scorpionox- I agree absolutely. He definitely doesn't need to get hit as much as he does, he needs to block more. In all his winning fights it always seems like he holds back for a few rounds, gets his shit rocked and then randomly explodes out of nowhere 😂

Jiri is an absolute beast & a true martial artist who seeks to fight flawlessly while in a centered seamless flow of motion. Don’t worry he is just getting started. Usada tested him like 30 times since last Championship fight lol😂 they can’t fathom how such a human exists naturally.

It was great to see Glover here! 🔴 After this year, and many in which he fought...it is a nearly impossible metric that Texeira win this fight. We should enjoy it and pay him homage. His greatest retirement gift was Alex Pereira.

Absolutely one of the best fighters on the roster, I felt so sad for him after that shoulder injury he didn't deserve that but it seems like things are always gonna come along and mess up your plans and we can only do our best to get back to where we was before the setback. Life's not fair at all and some people get all the luck, but if you're heart is clear you will be fine. If you strip everything down then you can see that most things mean very little in the grand scheme of things, in a hundred years no one's gonna remember or care about any of the stuff you was consumed by, trust me. I want to see him back at his best and I feel confident he will smash his way through his first few opponents and will be in a title fight before we know it, hopefully. I wish you the best of luck mate 👍🏻 go get em

This is the easily the best fight I’ve ever witnessed live, such warriors, and Jiri going through so much fire to get the submission at the last minute. Absolutely legendary, hope he’s here to stay!

Commentary and crowd/arena did not do this fight justice it was truly a cinematic war of crazy magnitude and entertainment

No pussy point fighting for easy decisions🥊crazy to think before the Glover fight he was on a 10 KO streak🤯 most fighters would be thrilled with a 10 fight win streak, this samurai was on a 10 knockout streak. @@SonsOfDeForest Nah, I've seen way less deserving people get title shots. Alex has a decorated combat resume, came in and did exactly what he was brought in to do: Slay Adesanya. He's also 35, so a fight with him vs Jiri while they're both clearly in their primes still would be a huge miss between two powerful LHW strikers who don't like to back up. If I'm the UFC I don't care if fans feel he doesn't deserve it, and at the end of the day they don't care. If fans wanna see the fight, they'll make it happen. I would do that and if he wins, then he picks wht weight class he wants to be in going forward. Just my opinion
