The way Jon confidently moved forward trying to box Gane in, speaks to how strong he must have felt. It reminded me of when Alistair Overeem was massive and fought Brock, or how Cain Velasquez used to fight, zero fear. This was not the timmed careful Jon we have seen in more recent years, that was the old Jon, who looked & felt invincable and just went to collect a body.

I can't believe it, we are in the presence of the GOAT, the age of 35 was not an excuse like so many fighters, the years stopped, and competing against the best heavyweight fighter. Jon GOAT Jones, made his victory seem like stealing an ice cream from a child, a fighter extraordinaire like Gane! I wasn't a fan of Jone but right now I have no words, he is super human!

His the best to ever do it and has easily the best resume in MMA. Hands down. 🐐 If he goes on another run at heavyweight half as good as his lhw run. Mind blown 🤯

Not to be that guy.. but Jones always sounded pretty much like this.. No matter what was going on he had the same "public persona".. I will agree that it seems a lot more honest/ genuin this time around. Like he finally arrived emotionally where he wanted to be and was pretending to be for a long time. Thats just speculation though..

@knightrider693 1. His antics outside the ring have nothing to do with the ass-whoopings he handed out to every legend 2. The "picograms" he was busted for are legal in the UFC now, which goes to show almost every fighter was caught with the same levels 3. gsp was literally on the juice too lol so how does it take away from Jones legacy but not GSP'S?
