@@vicentegeonix You don't understand. When a professional kickboxer gets hit with leg kicks, it's not because they didn't train it. It's because the opponent is just better at leg kicks than the other fighter is at defending them. It's the same thing with takedowns, fighters get taken down all the time even if they've been wrestling their whole lives. Their opponent just has better wrestling. You probably check leg kicks during sparring or during training all the time. Great. Now stepping into the cage and checking a kick from Pereira or Martinez is totally different.

I've never winced so much watching a fight. Ouch.

That’s just a weird angle. I’m sure it was bigger but not nearly as bad as it looked at the end. One leg was straight on and the bad leg was turned sideways making it seem a lot bigger

Lol in the Spanish alphabet there are different annunciations of particular letters, N being one of them. Yanez doesnt have the Ñ in the graphic but thats how his name is actually spelled, the production team just didnt get around to fixing it yet.

That would put him in the southpaw stance and if you've not trained to fight switch stances, you'll be nothing but a punching bag to your opponent cos you'll feel very awkward in an unfamiliar stance.
