Jones should have to surrender the belt if he really wants his Stipe legacy fight that badly. Tom and Pav are the heavyweight contenders, not a 42 year old who hasn't fought in 3 years and 4 years when their rescheduled fight finally happens. Jones' injury could take 8-12 months for full recovery. This could delay the "title unification" until 2025, which is absurd. It also will force either of the most exciting heavyweights to sit out for the whole year after this fight and wait for their "title" bout. And what if Jones loses to Stipe? Stipe is retiring soon. Then the delay will have been pointless!

Heavy weight devision is so interesting now. I only wish that this one was for the heavy weight championship.

How is this for the interim title. We won’t see Jon is not going to fight the winner and we won’t see him vs stipe for atleast 6 months to a year in a retirement fight for both guys. This is for the undisputed title

Tom's got serious power. He's just choosing the percentage of his quick combos for cardio.

I wasn't overly interested in the Jones/stipe fight, however, this main event is one I cannot wait to see

Are these breakdowns supposed to gloss over the fighter's bad spots? I remember Sergei eating a few decent shots from Blaydes. Also, Tybura landed a clean counter right hook at 15:50 as Tom rushed in after landing a head kick. Wish Tom didn't keep his chin up in the air. But I suppose if he get's Sergei down right away it doesn't really matter.

Pavlovich got his chin hanging out there as well, regardless there styles are effective I think Tom's timing and speed will hopefully be Pavlovich's criptonite.

SP have a solid 13-yrs Greco-Roman wrestling background plus Combat Sambo. Yes, he won his fights with KOs, but considering that this is his only weapon is a mistake.

Sergei Pavlovic is too violent for them

I think Tom is going to get destroyed, to be honest.

This show is outstanding. Couple notes on the production. 1.) Audio is a 10 out of 10. 2.) The TV stand (and whole set) looks amazing. 3.) The bright shoes have got to go (Brendan). No offense, it's difficult to focus on anything because the shoes jump off the screen. 4.) This is a very precise and tight production, but I think you should truncate 10 minutes (at the beginning) to explain their training method and show training footage. Show Aspinall training with Tyson Fury, for example. 5.) Very briefly explain each fighter's body type, who their coaches are, and their athletic roots before fighting (this rounds out our understanding of the fighter). 6.) Do a brief biography about the fighter, where they live, why they started fighting, and how they got into the UFC. 7.) Keep the show the exact same length. 8.) The UFC has always failed to explain WHO these fighters are. The "WHO" is what sells tickets.

@@GreyKnightSolo His fight with Aspinall was a few years ago, he wasn't quite this old, probably 40 or so, but yes, you're right, he just does it for money now, doesn't really try hard, not sure why UFC still keep him on their roster, he should have retired at least 6 years ago and found something else to do.

In all my years watching this....... Aspinall is one scary dude. He reminds me of a better version of Frank Mir..... and Frank Mir was a monster of an opponent. And across from him is Sergei..... great fight. I see a left hook catching Sergei.

Sergei should really be fighting Gane, Tom should have ran it back with Blades. This is still going to be a good fight though.
