The Karate Hottie has finally retired. Her greatest win was against Jessica Penne in Invicta when Waterson beat Penne for the Atomweight Championship of the world. It was a miraculous upset. It was a real David vs Goliath at the time and it was an emotional win for everybody who watched it.

Man I remeber when she was blazing through MMA she slowed down a little once she reached UFC but man. Now shes retiring. What a career

Yeah man, that's the thing about the UFC. It's the best of the best of the best. Literally so difficult to get a win in the ufc, let alone make a run to the title. She did pretty damn well.

@@SmokeFather 31 fights in a career going back to 2007 is pretty impressive. She had some nice wins and lost against some of the very best. Before her most recent skid she was 17-6. We can quibble about the word "great," but I'd say that's a pretty darn good career.

Happy retirement Michelle. A true pioneer who has earned it. Just wish the UFC added a 105 weightclass before she had to leave.

This was one of my first favorite UFC fighters, I remember that her first fight I saw was against Vanzant and since that time I was hooked on all her fights, it's a shame that she retired in such a crushing and humiliating way. They should choose her to appear in the karate kid movie.
