that was not just any lose tho it ended in zombie fashion, only a head shot could end a zombie and he was ready to stand and bang one last time before retiring, it sucked that he lost but he also won.

it was a loss in terms of competition but it was a win in terms of life and warrior mentality, the definition of going out on your shield, dude was literally swinging as he was going down.

It’s been a crazy year seeing all our favorites retire
IN YOUR HEAD, IN YOUR HEEEEEEEEAAAAAD, ZOMBIE, ZOMBIE, ZOMBIE!! Career full of entertainment and skills. The MMA world is going to miss seeing zombie perform for sure!
Literally get goosebumps everytime I rewatch zombies send off with the entire crowd singing along. ZOMBIE ZOMBIE!

There are many legends in ufc. But Korean Zombie is the best Legend ever I can say.
And he delivered on his promise to put on unforgettable performances every time he stepped inside the octagon. Not everyone can be champion, but the Korean Zombie left an indelible mark on the sport.
This guy deserves to be in the ufc hall of fame. Garcia, I retired from zombie mode one last time Korean zombie who knows what fans want and love until zombie mode He is truly a man with a warrior's heart

My husband and I were in Greenville, SC when Zombie knocked out Moicano in around 45 seconds of the first round. The crowd was amazing as he was entering and exiting the octagon yelling "Zombie". What a career this man has had. I'm going to miss him, but I'm glad I was able to see his talents in an arena with everyone loving on him. Happy trails, Chan Sung Jung.

Loved how he thought "fuck it" and went out his own way. What a legend.

when I first heard about Chang Sung Jung nobody wanted to fight that guy. Korean Zombie was the boogeyman of the featherweight division. Thank you for the memories 🫡

@Therealpeter10 When Korean Zombie KO'd Hominick, it was tied for fastest KO in UFC history. This was before the Masvidal knee, and before they reset the Ludwig KO from 11 to 6 seconds. Also, it's still the fastest KO in featherweight history.

Win, lose or draw, you always knew a KZ fight was gonna be a banger. It's sad to see him go, but he went out like a warrior, on his own terms. Gotta give him all the respect in the world for that.

In 273 he tired to get the crowd to sing but no one chimed in. To see the whole stadium singing along in 274 must have made him so happy. Even after he woke up after being Ko'd he had a big smile on his face coz he knew he went out on his own terms... swinging and out on his shield like the f*cking Korean Zombie does... Absolute Legend.

Man, with that smile he showed us what a legend he is. His happiness came from giving everything in that octagon and the live from the fans, those were his victories before retirement

It was an honour and privelege to have been there in person in Singapore to witness his last fight with Holloway, and be a part of the history of this legendary fighter. The vibe that night and the energy, love and support, for zombie still has me humming the Cranberries 2 days later. His career was beautiful and you can tell that Holloway has the highest respect for him. His fight with Yair Rodriguez was one of the best fights of the sport, and The knockout he sustained in the Yair fight, was a fight he was going to surely win on points, and although he lost, he contributed to immortalising it as the latest knockout in history, and it goes down as a reference point to what the sport is all about. Thank you Zombie for everything! 💀💀☠️☠️

Thanks for the KZ tribute. His highlights gives me goosebumps. For me when he backed down Poirier into the cage with the one two combo then flying knee and D'arce choke to finish was the best highlight amongst many highlights.

Imagine being able to say your last 2 fights were against Volk in a championship fight and Max Holloway. What a unforgettable career by one of the best fighters of all time. Happy retirement TKZ!!

I believe that Zombie has decided a all-in strategy before step into the 3rd round with Max Holloway, ie. either knock out Max or to be knocked out, a wild suicide-style to be memorized for the last fight in his legendary career!
He's fight vs poirier was a master class of MMA, as much heart as anyone in the game, will miss watching he's fights
