I still remember 13 years old watching this live with my family hoping and praying Barao doesn’t beat up TJ too bad was a fan of Dillashaw but I knew Renan was starting to look unbeatable before this fight but when that overhand landed I couldn’t sit down the rest of the fight 😂🙌still my favourite performance by a bantamweight

To be fair, Barao was using ivs to rehydrate after a crazy weight cut which became harder to sneak as USADA was making their entrance. Therefore, his cardio was never the same since every weight cut was brutal for him. Also, bw started to massively improve and Barao just couldn't keep up or even maintain the same power. Moving up to fw was a mistake because he would have even less power against bigger guys who hit harder than the guys he was accustomed to fighting.

But a White man has the audacity to take EPO (not a steroid) to cut a massive amount of weight for a fight HE LOST and literally every comment every time he's mentioned is like this. You'll never see these comments on Silva, Adesanya or Usman videos; maybe Jones, but only because his situation is SO egregious (orders of magnitude worse than Dillashaw's, but he's still the GOAT to many and his achievements aren't negated/minimised).

@@jordanweisner2637 did you dik riders test him? You people are just in the comments talking like yall know it all bringing up.....EPO EPO EPO EPO EPO haha. You people didn't even know wtf "EPO" was until yall researched about it in 2019 or later then that. Obviously used it for the 125 weight cut. Also the epo he was on in the cejudo fight didnt give him any types of advantages. Cejudo hurt him back to back ending it early with a 32 second stoppage. He couldn't recover or bounce back whatsoever. So thats irrelevant using epo excuse regardless. Aint epo suppose to help you recover boost your performance like you people say" it does? Hes clearly still the same fighter he was based of the sandhagen fight so. Wild cardio, actually somehow has a tougher chin weirdly, the great wrestling still has but just wasn't able to keep corys tall long body ass down enough. Still the same fighter and older👍👌✌.
