All hype for the fight. He's got the power, but his technique is inconsistent. I think he's good, but definitely doesn't have what it takes to beat jones unless he catches him with a lucky shot Edit: YES LUCKY SHOT. When you fight someone in Jones' league, the chances of you landing your hits are drastically decreased. So I stand by my wording. He'll only win if he can land a lucky shot and accidentally catches jones slipping, because he's not even in the same tier as jones skills wise. Jones is better ALL AROUND except for KO power. So unless jones shows up hungover, he's not going to lose. Re-edit: I take back what I said. Reyes performed wayyy better than I expected . And jones victory for this one is very questionable, would of been better off as a tie

The Decider well yea . He just knocked out Daniel Cormier at ufc 214. More recently knocked out Gustafson at ufc 232. Has 10 knockouts on record technically 11 because he killed Matt hammil. Christian Figens The “best” athletes aren’t in MMA though bar maybe Yoel/the handful of ex NFL guys. If you’re athletic enough to play professional sports you go into the NFL/NBA/MLB etc, not the UFC to fight on the prelims for pennies. MMA’s gradually getting more high level athletes though recently and will get more as the sport grows.

They generally do have to promote their world championship bouts, wouldn't be so good if they just went with a narrative of "not really any point watching this one because we all know Jon will shut down Reyes' gameplan and probably take him out with his own severely overused signature straight left, please sensibly invest your money and don't buy our product, thanks".

@@jayrex690 Minor exaggerations of ones abilities isn't the same as saying a guy who hasnt fought at LH for the majority of his career has a shot against the best LH of all time. I too think Jon isn't deserving of the GOAT title due to his PED violations, but I dont think people are exaggerating that much when they call him the GOAT since his record speaks for itself

Ive just checked his record and I'm actually shocked! I always thought it was a tko win.

John jones with a easy win, Reyes guy has no defense!

That american football background pays off he utilize footwork to move lightly even ho he is big and he use that footwork to generate power using straight punch
