Jocky Rohnson I gotta say to the eye poking technique which Jones seems to be the only fighter getting away with that. The culture of fighting with those open fingered gloves has been you can't extend your hand into your opponents face with your fingers extended. It must be a clinched fist! Jones is Champ I agree he is a money maker for Dana who receives preferential treatment. He lost the Gus fight but the judges gave him the belt, then when Gus should have been granted an immediate rematch, Dana let Phoney Jones decide to take another fight! Jones KNEW Gus messed up that face for him, busted him up and gave him a near broken jaw and a really fat lip so he DUCKED the rematch with Gus to take this Glover fight. I'm personally not a Glover fan and don't think he is in the same class as Jones and obviously didn't belong in the title fight. At best Glover should have had to beat Gus then get the title shot. Hopefully Gus puts an end to this nightmare which is Jones ever increasing volume of mouth and ever growing inflation of Ego!

Naaaw jon jones is trying to duck the gus questions, why is it so hard to talk about his next rematch wich may be the biggest fight in 2014? He looks so scared and trying to act calm but deep inside he just begging that the reporters wont remind him of the beating he got last year. Never seen a brother this scared in my life. Its pretty obv that gus is inside his head. He wont even mention his name, because he just got over the nightmares he had for the past months.

Jones improvement Funny how people talking about how jones has improved since the ufc 165 and that gus wont have a chance now. The funny thing is that gus has probably improved even more, look how he gotten better each damn year in the ufc from losing to phil davis with no ground game to stuff almost all the takedowns from the pound for pund fighter in the world. You see what im trying to say? Jones may not be the same fighter, but i almost sure gus aint either.

Meatt Sword Jones is a pampered prick, I am not disputing the fact that he is Champ and he was GRANTED the victory against Gus; because the fact remains he was GRANTED the victory. Gus messed up that face for Jones. Nearly broke his jaw and gave a really fat lip! Jones did get desperate and was playing catch up, he caught Gus with some shots but never caught up on the cards making it a total shock when they called him out as still the champ. Jones DUCKED the immediate rematch which should have been granted to Gus which is really a load of crap! Franky E had 3 re matches forced on him. Even Weidman gave Silva a rematch AFTER he knocked the former Champ out! Jones was allowed to choose! I can only hope Gus finishes Jones this time and the Ref has the balls to stop Jones from extending his hands into the face of his opponent with fingers forward.

Meatt Sword I appreciate the reply, You are correct in saying it's a fore gone conclusion, Glover lost and Gus is next, it is a bit aggravating that Jones did get to choose, in his post fight interview Dana was saying Gus possibly won the fight and deserved the rematch, then Jones publicly says he is not going to fight the rematch and is moving on to " other challengers". I have to ask how you feel that the Weidman vs Silva rematch is a different story?

Meatt Sword I see your point, Gus seriously took it to Jones for at least 2-3 rounds, if you compare other "granted" re matches such as Henderson vs Edgars or Edgars vs Penn or Edgars vs Maynard you have to say the Gus vs Jones fight by those standards was rematch worthy for lack of better terms. Silva was acting like an idiot, but I believe Weidman was just ready to win. I think a Silva in his prime may be the best fighter we have ever seen including Jones. I think he is unfairly being hyped as the best EVER and I hope Gus will silence that talk. The LHW division is getting interesting with Rumble coming back and resurgence of Cormier... I am simply ready for a new champ to squash Jones ego trip!

Performance bonuses are just another name for submission and knockout of the night. Honestly. The "performance" doesn't matter unless it's for the fight of the night.

I am sick of the way Jones fights. A fighter should NOT be allowed to have their hands open and fingers near the face of the other opponent. Jones should have been disqualified. I will never pay for a card that he is on again. Just watch the fight and look how many times Jones has his fingers near Glovers eyes.
