    I truly like the rematch but UFC might let Conor fight at 155 belt before defending 145 . And make Aldo face Holloway for the Interm belt . Conor want to be 2 division champ ,he wont come down . He will say , let them fight and shit like that.

    I feel like Edgar didn't set up the takedown either, off course Edgar has a pretty good wrestling background but he was shotting for the takedown immediately with stepping back, lowering his hips, arms and shoulders. Aldo saw that coming from a mile away. I think that the takedown from Frankie was also so slow because he was scared for a flying knee and first wanted to have a block covered for it before shouting for the takedown. If Aldo was the old Aldo killer he would have countered with more flying knee's.

  • @joestr8848

    @joestr8848

    Great strategic fight by Aldo tonight. I feel like he was even holding back some stuff so Conor couldn't have more film. There were opportunities for kicks that he didn't take. It's also amazing how he doesn't showcase his BJJ that is phenomenal. That being said, it's hard not to like the guy. Conor fans are just biased so they hate but Aldo is a stand up guy. Just a nice humble guy from the poorest parts of Brazil who made a dream come true and dominated for a while. Hardest part of this fight was that him and Edgar are both such good guys outside the ring.. Hopefully Aldo gets revenge and then Frankie can beat Conor after that lol.

    Aldo has been open about adding new things and changing stuff at training since the Conor fight. I agree he was pacing himself tonight against a guy like Frankie. But I think he knew he could win without having to show much offensively as far as attacking. I could easily be wrong though. Just a guess. He was a lot more in counter mode though and it looked great. Timed the counter striking well, got knees in that we were well timed and once again reminded everyone how good his take down defense is. He was throwing Frankie around.

    Not going to say Conor got lucky against Aldo in the first fight. Conor literally knocked out another guy the same way he knocked out Jose. In no way can you take that away from Conor. Jose made a mistake, and Conor capitalized on it and knocked him out. Can't wait for a rematch. Like Conor said, Jose deserved to last much longer than he did in the first fight, but I believe the same outcome will happen again. Conor by KO.

    this was fight of the night for me. It was a great fight. Love watching aldo, people were saying he looked in bad shape and smaller, but they forget that Aldo struggled with weight cut so he's probably cut a bit of muscle. Cardio wise he looked fantastic, I thought that if he doesn't win the 1st 3 round he'd lose the laters. He looked great at the 4th and 5th which is kinda unusual. Great job Aldo.

    as i said mofos..This man is going to remind us all why he was champ for the past 10yrs. Connor will lose to nate again..then loose his belt to Aldo in the rematch..then his rep will be completely tarnished after loosing 3 straight matches and the only memory we will have of him would be the guy who was the UFC champion who knew how to flap the flapper the best. talk the most shyte!

    +Infamous Numero Uno dude Aldo is battle tested past 10 yrs he fought top fellas..like number 1 contenders his entire rein as champ..we not talking about nobodys like whom connor knocked out..sure he got caught that fight with connor but that was a fluke man...that could happen to anyone... we did not get a chance to see both guys display their skill set.

    +Francis Dhun Aldo has the aggressive pressure stand up style while Conor has the step back counter stand up style, styles make fights and yeah sure Conor has been cherry picking, not fighting a lot of the top guys but Conor has the reach, accuracy, footwork, and power. Although I was rooting for Edgar to win he doesn't always pack a punch and pretty much starts off pretty slow. Conor would beat Aldo again in the rematch

    never know, since it it will be mcgregor vs aldo 2 next probably at ufc 205 put max holloway against frankie and let the winner of that fight go up against the winner of mcgregor vs aldo 2. atleast thats what i would do cuz max has to wait anyway its better to put him against frankie and decide who the next number 1 contender is

    Now.. being both a Connor and Jose fan, how in the hell can someone say that Conor's knockout was a "fluke".. when it was 13 seconds. Lol it's not like it was Conors first rodeo. I would understand had Jose be winning and Conor was swinging wildly but from the get go, Conor was much more fluent on his feet and knew Jose was coming for the kill and times his power left in a Jose that was fighting with emotion. It was a legit KO guys, get over it. With that said, congrats Jose for the nice bounce back over a bad ass in Frankie. But please learn English.. good god.

    It's not a fluke, but he didn't fight the best aldo. But it was because of his trash talk that aldo wasn't his best self. He go aldo to fght emotionally when aldo is usually a cold killer. So it wasn't a fluke at all.
