He never even had one official defense and held onto it longer than he should have. The rules are it's relinquished if not defended within 12 months. He needs better coaching to get further ahead in my opinion.

@H-town281 Await, Izzy was hurting Rob then Koed him, even Romero could not put him out, u under estimate technicalities and it still down on most MMA fan, Costa is a walking punching bag, he has no fundamentals, is footwork is zero, head movement ain't far from none, shitty defence, plus a natural short reach of 72 inch for a 6 foot 1 guy, common power and pressure can look decent against unranked less technical fighter, Costa is gonna gassed out chasing izzy while swinging into the air, before izzy start to flow on him in later rounds, izzy hardly throw over head bombs, he snipes you within your facial region which won't knock u out but drains d shit out of your thought

@RUNESCAPEISLIFE S right I saw him in glory and king of the ring when I heard he was going to UFC I knew he would dominate cause his striking is on a whole nother level than the MWs in his division but however I am worried about his ground game haven't seen much of that yet. And since the UFC let's u hold a guy down forever unlike in pride where they would give you a yellow card and call for action one of those boring ass wrestlers are going to get him. Hopefully not but he should be training hard for that because I guarantee his first L will be by wrestlefucking. I love ground game too but only if they are constantly either trying to strike, set up, transition, or tap a guy out. Now they let you hold and not inflict hardly any damage and nobody stands it up.
Adesanya and khabib is why I’m Addicted to UFC fights, before Israel and khabib I didn’t liked UFC fights.

Still can't express just how bewildered & disappointed I am at Whittaker's approach to this fight. As if he and his coaches have been working on 0 gameplan since April 13th when Izzy won the interim belt.
