    Usman is a stud but a great man and father. Each time I look at his IG he’s always playing with his little girl. He is a phenomenal champion and great human being. I think he can break GSPs record which is incredible given the fact that the skill level today is so much higher than GSPs competition

    Kamaru really showed what is to have a champion mentality in a fight. He got dropped but never looked panicked or shook. He was calm and kept coming forward. Pure competitor.

    Yeah, like with Woodley that was pure domination, honestly I enjoyed that fight a lot, to understand the art that is being displayed, the constant pressure, the constant work, it's good to see, yeah it's not a capoeira bout where everything is flashy and filled with flair but there's still beauty to it, he's a real grinder and he'll keep working you and beating you up to make sure you know why he's called the Nigerian Nightmare

    Trevor Whitmann worked him and polished the striking even more. I said it to my brother when Usman was getting vaseline'd: Trevor for sure made the guy an even bigger monster than he already was, hes gonna fuck Gilbert up. Truly one of the best coaches in the game imho.

    I mean I made the same jokes but we've known all along how good usman is, his fight style just doesnt cater to the casuals when he goes into full control wrestling mode. But Marty acts like he's going to finish him, while he didn't do any kind of damage in the first fight and got badly injured in his face, that he needed plenty of time to recover and couldn't even take the fight against Burns in December. Will he beat Masvidal (with his wrestling)? Probably. Will he finish him? No way.

    I get the sense Masvidal doesn’t wanna fight Colby and probably now Usman after this fight. I think his best option is to fight Colby first and if he wins or at least put on a great performance, he can then fight Usman. Something tells me that may not play out like it probably should. We’ll see.

    @Khal Drogo I forgot about the Nate fight. I guess that tells me that I don’t really care for that fight compared to a Colby or Usman fight. I like Masvidal, but he’s gotta make a move on one of the top 2 fighters (Colby/Usman) who are calling him out. I wanna see just how good Masvidal really is cause I know he’s a really good striker. We’ll see.
