@Life is Peachy Romero was dominating him in the second round of their fight, then knocked him out in the opening few seconds of the third. Jacare was also holding his own, and was not in any way being dominated by Weidman. Weidman has a habit of talking himself up more than he should

Auto blipper Damn right. He’s like a lot of sports leagues who almost can win but just choke someway through it. Honestly his last fight was his worse mistake I believe. He could have wore Jacare out on the ground but stood and traded in the last round.

I've literally never seen him throw one in my life, and attempting one and missing against Reyes is going to get a straight hand on his jaw.. not a great idea. If it happens it happens though I hope he throws and lands one! But I think reyes is going to stamp his authority on this one.

Cory Akabueze I think he would, who else would be ahead of him? Jan, Corey and walker all have fights already, Smith already had his ass beat Santos is injured. The only viable contender would be Reyes but that goes out the window if he’s beaten by Weidman. Depending on how dominant Weidmans win could depend on whether he gets the shot or not

Yasin Rahman I somewhat disagree. If Jan beats Jacare and Weidman beats Reyes I think Jan deserves the shot but if Jacare beats Jan and Weidman beats Reyes I still think that’s Weidmans shot, I mean beating Reyes who is 11-0 (although I had him losing to Volkswagen) is better than beating jan who did get knocked out by santos only two fights ago. Aswell as this that Jacare vs jan fight is in like a month and if Weidman wins at the weekend he could get that fight booked with Jon for January instead of everyone waiting around to see how the Jacare fight plays out. I wouldn’t be mad if the title shot went to the winner of Jan vs Jacare tho I mean Jacare did beat Weidman already so.

No prediction. But, I thought that Weidman looked shook at the staredown.

Considering the damage UFC fighters take they should not just focus on being undefeated rather make good money even if loose and exit. I feel sorry for the fighters but entertsinging and excitement though

It was a mistake for Weidman to move up a division. He was a big guy in middleweight, now he loses this advantage at light heavyweight. After the fight is over it will be 12-0 for Reyes. Weidman was once good but his zenith is over. He should go to Bellator after this or retire.

Weidman made a wrong decision, climbing up to LHW. He's getting old and no longer undefeated. He lost in the MW few times and now climb up to LHW and already dreaming to be the champ in that division? I don't think so.
