He was tough though I can’t lie.

One of the most impressive things, to me, about Izzy is his takedown defense. He must put in so much work on his defense. It's really incredible, pretty much everyone hasn't been able to take him down and hold him down.

@@josephgeorgeejr7039 He's so afraid of being taken down he's like a cornered cat. I too don't believe it's something he's learned in practice, it's pure instinct plus he cheats when he can by grabbing the fence but that's a natural reflex when you're scared to go down.

At 4:19 you can see this man beautifully roll his way out of a takedown. Amazing.

Rob Wilkinson is now the PFL Light Heavyweight Champion and he is huge at 205. He looks in way better shape now than he did here. I'm happy for him. He said he learned a lot from this loss.

Izzy is a certified beast I love his tenacity and confidence dudes gonna have a damn good career

I like seeing how relaxed Izzy stays. So smooth, conserving his energy. Very impressive.

That was some Ken masters street fighter roll. Izzy the man as always! Calculated, quickly learned from those initial take downs... His fighting IQ is insane. You literally can see the point at which the sharingan kicked in and he started to see through his opponents moves.

Izzy is like a mini Derrick Lewis in this fight. Every time he got took down he just popped right back up

I remember seeing this fight live (on ppv), I knew Izzy would be something special but thinking back it’s kinda surreal that he became champion. Izzy might be the first fighter I’ve followed since their debut in the UFC to become champion.

As a kickboxer myself watching Izzy he thinks A LOT! His always moving and changing angles to find out his opponents patterns his really good at setting traps I hope I get to spar him one day 😭

Adesanya is one of the most Dyñamic fighter in the ufc , shows that he used to have fun in the streets before stepping into the gym , that roll was the whole fight

Since his first fight, it was obvious that he is very talented and special fighter and that he is gonna be a problem for anybody at 185 lbs.

Thus fight being izzy first back in Feb 2018 in WA Perth Australia just show how mature his striking was back then,even though it was just Wilkinson who at the time was Australia XFC middleweight champ,his entrance,ring personality and ultra special fighting styles with his unique animated touches and finishes off with the mic just shows he was already a champ back then

I like how Izzy could have done more damage at the end but instead picked his shots.

Still more exciting then most ufc fights. Adesanya is a beast. He will go down in the ufc hall of fame. Love watching this guy fight.

Izzy looked so good considering this was his first ufc fight and so much pressure to perform. Also respect that he fights close to his natural weight. He doesn't kill himself trying to cut weight and drop down.

Favorite part was when he got spit on and was like "hell naw"....Izzy such a beast

Looking back at this and how he fights now there is no big change. He just got more technical and people got used to his style but it's the same thing. Leg kicks, jabs, feints, takedown defense.
