What made Kimbo so special was here is a backyard brawler destroying other thugs . In the MMA world Backyard Brawler is considered any form of Martial arts. This is a man who never trained any form of Martial Arts and held his own against guys that been training for years. The wins that he did rack up was on talent, heart, and power alone. What are you talking about. Sure if you were watching this live I could see it being boring but the highlights are the best its ever gonna get. Kimbo literally suplexed someone in MMA twice. You know how hard that is to do in a fight. Picking up a 200 pound person against their will over your chest. No respect for the man himself, if it werent for his health issuesand conditioning hed be unstoppable in the UFC.
Man this was crazy what a fighter Brock is!
RIP Kimbo! One of the most dominant 3 minutes ever in the UFC! If only he was recongnized when he was young like 19-21 year olds today. He would have been the GOAT. He had no conditioning, no kick game, no wrestling game, no mixed martial arts experience, and no defense to any of that and walked into his professional debut in MMA at the age of 33. He would have been an even better boxer by his skillsets (undefeated boxer btw) but if he trained for the MMA when he was younger he wouldn't have had anyone to fight. They would all be as scared as Houston Alexendar in round 1. Lost him way too young as well. Still a legend and will be remembered. RIP! Thank you for the memories. *A lighter note. When you're up there at some point Kimbo maybe apologize to the man you cut in half with your shoulder...

To be fair, Kimbo does show some pretty good take down and striking in round 2, it's just a shame he failed to capitalise in a big finish. It's pretty clear that he needed more training in submissions and keeping an opponent on the mat. Rip to the big fella, I think he wasn't bad. If anything, I think people should aim more criticism towards Houston Alexander. All he did was circle the ring and when anything actually happened he moved like a sedated walrus and didn't defend against much of Kimbo's offense at all.
Big respect to both
Mad respect for both after that fight still awesome
UFC needs to upload restored HD footage of Kimbo's backyard fights.

Ok, so it wasn't a great fight but Kimbo deserved alot of credit for taking on the challenge of fighting mixed martial artists when all he ever did was street fight. I remember when he was on the ultimate fighter. He did everything that was asked of him. Never complained, never tried to do things his way. He humbled himself and absorbed everything he could from the coaches and other fighters. R. I. P. Kimbo!

You gotta give respect to kimbo. Wasn't afraid to take a leap in competition from fighting guys on the street to actually good mma fighters. Yea he didnt look the best but he was getting old and had terrible knees. If he had began mma in his 20's he would've been a beast

This was such a disappointing fight to watch live. It was billed as an all out slug fest by 2 guys who bring it every time, and ended up being this bizarre, awkward circling staring contest for 12 minutes with 3 minutes of gassed out guys grappling. Luckily there was curling and golf on another channel, so I could switch back to that, far more entertaining.
