His style and pace produced fireworks against Lopes'. Ortega would've made it more of a grappling showdown. Here we got bombs on the feet AND elite grappling on the ground.

I love Ige for this but Ortega v Lopes would’ve been more exciting IMO. Just because both guys are willing to be reckless, I also wanted to see their potential grappling exchanges, both guys chase submissions so there would be many scrambles. Ige was a lot more measured and didn’t open up a lot. Smart move, but didn’t make for a more exciting fight.
