yeah, Islam is usually slow and tries to be crafty on the feet, but as he said. Charles does do a lot of repetitive things, and Islam countered that perfectly. It also seems like when you compare this to the Islam v Tibau fight that the striking style vacillates between very timid, technical striking, to very aggressive depending on who they are fighting (grappler vs non grappler).

I don't think I've ever been more torn after a fight, on the one hand it was awesome to see Islam have his life's work rewarded, on the other I was so sad for Charles. I wasn't a fan of Charles to start but when I saw him embracing his supporters on the way to the octagon and then complete respect he showed Islam and his team before the fight even started I realized what an amazing person he is

hes only 31, Islam has a very real chance at ruling the LW division for a very long time. All the fighters in the top 5 will get absolutely destroyed outside of Dariush, Arman and Gamrot will most likely matchup better with Islam than Dustin, Justin and Chandler honestly.
