The announcers just gush on and on about their celebrity while she gets mashed , even 30 second before the end they’re still at it.

So unfortunate pat barry took over. She's such a sponge. But she's taking instructions from b level now. Imagine the improvement if pat just got out of the way of trevor. Just look at gaetjhe how much he's improved. She could have been miles ahead from where she is now. It would've been magic.

Rose is a legend and a staple in women's MMA. There's nothing wrong with the commentary. Manon will be in a place before long where PPL talk about her in the same way these guy's did Rose. At the time of this fight Rose had created way more content to speak about than Manon just with how long she's been in the UFC. There's more significant issues to bitch about.

im a rose fan. i love her style alot but god damn commentators be on her nuts like there isnt a second fighter in there.

Imagine a piece of technology that allows the viewer to selectively mute commentators with a click of a button as an optional feature but keep everything else as is. Whoever invents this gadget will make some good money. Even in a live PPV transaction, I will gladly pay more money for such an option. Sometimes I just want to hear the fighters and the roar of the crowd to fully enjoy the fight. Am I alone in this?

Probably not, but to everyone who had an issue with this commentary. It might be wise to look within yourselves to figure out if your lack of ease with what was said. I keep hearing ridiculous comments about the "glazing" of Rose. As if she hasn't earned some compliments. As if she doesn't have endless content to speak about. Much more than Manon, who is certainly earning her stripes now too. One day she will be talked about just as much.

It's neat watching the effect of Rose's stance switches. Manon looks to have a consistent preference for SP and the power she gets from a right jab. Rose's switches kept me watching close to see where she'd sneak past a guard.

I think Manon will be champion one day, she has the skills and takedown defense it's clear in this fight, and towards the end you see the clear difference Manon still had a lot of power and speed to dish out but that doesn't matter with a counter striker if they could time it right and unfortunately rose did not have her right hand this fight. I don't see rose winning the rematch imo but I have been wrong both ladies are very skilled.

Her coach started her sparring with men at a very young age. So you can say she’s been groomed to feel comfortable wrestling men much older than her. She’s never gotten a chance to wrestle anyone else so that’s all she knows. Coach tries to get his students training early as possible.

​@@iantendo_ Yes and no, because there're several strawweights that are natural flyweights, but cut a ton of weight to face smaller opponents. Ribas was 143 lbs against Rodriguez on fight night. Valentina fighting at 125 is about 130 lbs inside the cage. If Ribas faced Valentina, she would have 10-15 lbs on her. The Rose that we saw last night was probably around 138 lbs. She would outweigh Val too.

She pretty much boxed against a just as skilled fighter after the no takedown confidence loss. If you are going to take down someone and she stiffens up - use the age old SEOI NAGE or SEOI NAGE into Harai goshi very very basic judo. She needed to take her down because Marion is too good at defense stuffing and ducking.

You are right! Fiorot always fought in southpaw since the beginning of her career. Nevertheless, I think she is right handed. She used left hooks only occasionally. Her right side seems the more dominant one. It’s look like she is right handed and when she was a kid started with a southpaw stance. Then, nobody asked her to change it and she kept it like that, and that further became an advantage.

The judges rode the short bus.
