@@midget420 More like he stagnated. Conor wasted away years of his prime drinking, partying and chasing boxing fights whilst trying to relive the 'Mystic Mac' glory days which aren't coming back. Conor didn't look too bad in the second fight against Dustin, he won the first round after all. But he underestimated Dustin's evolution and overestimated the power of his left-hand.

Dustin "The Diamond" Poirer will always be my favorite MMA fighter. He grew up in a town not far from my own and under similar circumstances... Through his rise to the top contenders of the sport shows his own perseverance. I can only hope he can push forward to maybe a couple more years of his champion aspirations. Even if he doesn't get the belt doesn't mean he's not a champion in my view. Hats off to you Dustin, you are without a doubt a cajun badass!

I can't believe we get to see a real fight, with Khabib and Dustin, who have both earned the fight by fighting and winning, not talking. This feels like one of the biggest real fights ever in UFC history. It's so refreshing to see a good guy like Dustin getting a big shot, and Khabib being respectful enough to ask for the fight with him. Khabib could have asked for an easy rematch with a withered McGregor. Both men, and the UFC are showing integrity.

His combos are some of the best in the UFC. So crisp and they flow together so well.

He has these sharp switch hooks that he throws in bunches it’s crazy how he can throw them so accurately and in combinations as he switches and he lured people into a brawl and his punches get there first

Khabib knows only one language, that is "smesh" . It does not matter who is opponent his, he gonna maul them anyway.

I love this video because usually you only get top 5 finishes. But, Dustin has so many finishes from both subs and Ko's/Tko that his video is much longer. I highly recommend you watch the documentary on Poirier from his Pre-Ufc days. Back when he was still learning the sport and grinding through the rankings of smaller promotions. What an incredible evolution as a fighter and human being. Becoming one of the best through heart and hard work.

You can see the evolution in his striking in this video very accurately

that Gaethje TKO was the highlight of his career so far. Gaethje is a beast and the Diamond put him away. I feel like he will give Conor a hell of a fight this time

Dustin is a great striker but he has become a great grappler to. He won't have the one punch knockout but man the volume of strike he throws.hope he takes the trilogy

@@skyedge3407 speaking strictly fighting/MMA i love khabib but the things that he does/says outside of the octagon makes me thing twice.He has always been against woman mma and woman's rights in fighting,along with his organization based in dagestan , torturing of gays and broken laws and a lot of other things makes me choose dustin and a grounded fair individual along with him starting charities and inspired me in my life and makes him the favorite in my mind.

@@jamil6875 DC was just being stupid. He was really feeling himself and didn't respect Stipe in the rematch. DC won the first match because he had a better strategy that included catching Stipe by surprise with the K.O. He mistook his own precision and catching Stipe by surprise as knockout power or weak chin. Wrestling would've worked, but he was being arrogant.

Yup (; perfect for a fighter that loves to leave his chin up in the air and move the side. Dustin is also a good combination puncher.

He has some of the sickest against the fence tko's of all time. Love seeing Dustin fight.

It's been an amazing experience watching Porier evolve through the years to become one of the elites

I can't get over the uppercut at 4:05, such perfect execution.

Once he tags you, it's just barrages of punches coming your face relentlessly with so much precision that you barely stand a chance of recovering. Love the Diamond

He fights like he has an angry grudge in every single fight, like he is trying to kill his dinner and eat it. I mean, not many people have that sort of intensity. He out bullied Gathje for God sakes.

This guy was the one that evolved more in that division in the last 5-6 years. He just become a flawless machine. In a perfect world a rematch between him and Khabib in 2022 would be fireworks for the ages. Only two fighters that I saw running over everyone at that weight for half a decade.

how would he do better against khabib he has no resistance to takedowns heck he even did worse than conor he just got one guillotine and that too led to his downfall. He is overrated he can't even knock dan hooker quicker like michael chandler did.

I love this guy patience. He knows when to defend and when to strike.
