    Some of the most dominant competitors in the sport are the most calmest, coolest and down to earth people to talk to. GSP, Robbie Lawler, Carlos Condit, Cain Velasquez, Anderson Silva, Dominic Cruz, Mighty Mouse... All are super chill dudes on the mic and then absolute fucking killers in the cage.

He'll always make great fights, whatever the case, as will Nate :)

    Conor did well in first round unfortunetly going instantly from 145 to fighting at 170 cant make you efficient enough to stay fresh for couple rounds. Also, Nate got incredible hard chin, most of guy would've been ko'ed in 1st round. Credit to Diaz, Conor is not done yet. He have alot of great options, this one will be forgotten if he'll go back to 145 and beat Edgar, which is hard fight tho.

    +Gregory Hubbard Connor said that he will take over the UFC. Well, guess what Nate put him to sleep. I just hope Connor got a good sleep from that and understands that he shouldn't bite more that he can chew. Dos Anjos beat Nate by Unanimous decision when Nate did a full training camp to be ready for that fight and missed weight and was heavier than Anjos and still lost. Connor lost by submission when Nate Diaz only had 10 days to prepare and no training camp. Tell Connor to stay in 145.

    +Gregory Hubbard noone went to sleep cus connor tapped... even holly didnt tap lool look connor shoudnt fight at 170 his power isnt the same at that weight it happens we've seen it in boxing for years he should defend his belt at feather against edgar or a rematch with aldo at 200 but cant take anything away from nate hes a veteran and he used his experience to use his energy wisely and that got him the W

  • @LoadedFPS

    @LoadedFPS

    8 жыл бұрын

    James Mcgarvey Have you ever been trained in Jiu-Jitsu? When you're in trouble, you tap. You don't hurt yourself by not tapping. People view it as heart or something, it's absolutely foolish to allow someone to put you to sleep for tapping. It's not that his power wasn't the same either, where do you think the 25 pounds he gained went? He spoke on it after the fight, it takes more to put away the bigger man. He has power, otherwise Nate wouldn't have looked like he did after the fight. Conor was not wise with his energy and had little to no cardio. Probably because the guy gained 10 pounds in 10 days. Nate didn't show a lack of cardio because he didn't expend all of his energy and punch himself out in the first round. Holly was absolutely foolish for not tapping. She went unconscious and when you're KO'd you have to be evaluated for a concussion (you do after a fight either way, however if you go out it's much more extensive and harder to get a doctor's clearance) whereas Conor knew it was over and tapped. When people don't tap they get hurt. Tim Sylvia held on when Mir had an armbar and got his arm broken. Guy never fought the same afterward. Whether or not the two are directly related is irrelevant. The point is that he got himself hurt. Understanding you limits and knowing you're in trouble doesn't show a lack of heart, it's awareness.

    +Junayed Naim HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You should tell Connor to keep fighting smaller guys. Because Tony Ferguson hits harder than Nate and Dos Anjos is faster and stronger than Nate. Connor should just keep on fighting smaller guys. If he fights Frankie Edgar, wich I doubt that he will. He will lose even worse. If the UFC makes a fight between Connor and Frankie, the UFC will don everything they can to give Connor the advantage. They will make the fight in Ireland and they will make a bullshit attempt that Frankie must take the fight in 10 days notice to fight Connor. Connor is not the best ever and Nate Diaz show that to everyone.

    +Junayed Naim No and any fan of Conor's that would jump ship as the result of his loss or any other, was never a real fan and that goes for any fan that would abandon a fighter due to a loss. Win or lose, a fan needs to support their guy. As a fan of both McGregor and Diaz, I was proud of Conor for giving it a go, for not backing out of the card when RDA became a scratch and I'm proud of him for how he's handled himself in defeat. Beyond that, I am proud of Nate for taking the fight, for showing up and putting on a great performance and for shaking McGregor's hand when the bout was stopped. Good for Nate that he got the win and great for Nate that he earned a huge payday.

    Conor fan here for everyone saying where they at lol, i must say i gained a lot of respect for Diaz because he took a beating when it comes to damage but he stayed calm like the veteran he is and caught a younger non veteran in a submission cause he knew that was and advantage.. to me that's smart fighting, Conor should have not swung so many shots with full power, he looked gassed all to hell in the end of the second and Diaz was still fresh even with his damage. Hats off to Nate. BUT Conor will be back.. mark my words. Hard to go up 25 pounds higher than you ever fought and beat a Veteran when he should have fought at the class below first Then went up that way his body got adjusted and he experienced the power of upper weight classes.
