Bruh, it didn't even go two whole rounds lmao. She looked good in the first round and probably was up in the second up until the stoppage, however Andrade was adapting and she kept coming the whole time. Plus there was still three whole rounds left to go after that. You want an example of Andrade getting outclassed "BIG time", go watch her fight with Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Looking good for 7-8 minutes is nice and all, but it takes more than that to win a 25-minute fight. Joanna actually outclassed her the whole fight. Only, Joanna has actually demonstrated on multiple occasions that she can go 5 hard rounds, the difference with Rose is that she's shown more than once now that she seems to be unable to do that. And as already mentioned, Andrade kept coming the whole time with constant pressure, that type of fight is exhausting. Especially for someone who already seems to naturally lack the cardio needed for a long-winded fight. And we also know from having seen Andrade's fight with Joanna where she was essentially outclassed and outstruck every round that she could've kept that pace up the whole fight if she needed to, as she never stopped coming forward and pressuring Joanna in that fight. The truth is that Rose would've most likely had to take Andrade out soon otherwise it probably would've gotten bad for her later on.

Best Ever she dominated but lost. It’s been said time and time again the fight game is bout inches and split seconds. Doesn’t matter if you’re winning and perfect for 24min of the fight if the opponent stops you with 1 min to go you lost and that’s that. Doesn’t matter if you were winning. On top of all that Jessica went for the same takedown and slam attempt, Rose defended it the same way each time. Jessica stuck with it and overpowered her into a brutal slam. That’s not luck that’s just forcing the win.

1a 2b I’m pretty confused about that though because a double wrist grab is not automatically a submission attempt and she didn’t even start turning it into a kimura. Any high level grappler will agree that a double wrist grab from standing is a way to control which direction your opponent can move. It is a type of Russian tie which is NOT a submission attempt. Furthermore Jessica had used that slam repeatedly in the fight and was definitely going to use it regardless of what grip rose used which means that she was not using the slam to “defend a submission attempt” which is the only exception to the rule that is allowed as it is designed to permit slamming armbar and triangle escapes. Tldr: A loose double wrist grab is not automatically a submission attempt and any bjj black belt will agree with me. Taking that same grip from standing or from inside the guard is not given an advantage for a sub attempt unless it is used to kimura the opponent which it was not.

The kinda punishment she was getting in the first round, she wouldn't have lasted 5 rounds. It would've been a doctor stoppage, if not KO, just like that Holloway Ortega fight. So I think Rose can beat her. But I do think that Joanna matches Andrade better stylistically.
