I'm as big an Usman fan as they come, but the honesty in that answer will make even Usman smirk. Truly... it would be a terrible idea for Usman to box Canelo. Thats a recipe for disaster.

Really i think he got 2 of 3. Colby won that fight. And usmen got his life saved by the bell at end of round 4. And Colby has fought once in almost 2 years. Cant wait for the third fight when colby knocks usmen out

It was for sure easily one of my favorite cards I have ever seen, I also watched from the 3rd early prelim fight and on that was so many great fights from then on. I usually catch prelims if I can but to start from early prelims and stay engaged from basically 6:40pm- 1:40am is crazzzy.

GSP beat 4 Hall of Famers, UFC Champions across 3 divisions, the last WEC WW champion, the last Strikeforce WW champion, the Strikeforce MW champion...he literally beat everyone he ever fought, who else could he have beaten lmao. The crop of WW's back then compared to now (GSP, Roided Hendricks, Diaz, Condit, Shields, Macdonald, Maia, Lombard, Lalwer, Koshceck) I think was better than the current crop of WW's, especially since half them were on steroids lol.

So, In my Opinion, objectively pointing each round, Weili had rounds 1, 2 & 3. Should've been (48-47 Weili). One scorecard read 49-46 Rose, now that's just bs. One scorecard read 30-27 Gaethje, that's bs too. Chandler won the 1st round.

Love what he said about the Canello fight, I get what Usman means, having to work towards a fight with a man like that is gonna drive him to do great things but let's be honest there is no reason for us to be talking about that fight. If the box 100 times Canello wins all of them, if they fight with mma rules usman wins all of them. Unless one of them shifts careers and the fight happens in 10 yrs or something.

Masvidal is definitely my favorite fighter and I'm biased cause I will always pick him to win... But if by chance he gets a third shot...which isn't gonna happen he isn't beating Usman, if Colby gets a 3rd he isn't gonna win...That Vincent isn't gonna win...damn, I don't think anyone in that division will win until Usman retires

@@jakethesnake4971 they actually do that on a Regular basis i heard it on a german Nasrat haqparast interview where he describes that its normal to between 10k and 20k extra money when you perform well. Its like a Secret bonus because it stands in no contract nor will the ufc announce it.

These reporters ask the dumbest questions time after time. There are certain things Dana don't answer (i.e. making matches right after fights) yet they continue to ask the same damn question.

I'd rather they keep the current structure if they're paying out more bonuses. Yea it's still 50k and making it higher would be better but more fighters getting a bonus is a lot better imo. They used to only give one bonus for each category. Dana said he saw the fight then later said he didn't buy it haha! edit:(Canelo fight)

If he was smart he'd realize colby is undersized for 170 and he'd make a 165 pound division and Colby would be a garanteed champ when he isn't fighting guys with 30-40 pounds on him

@@0326Vet Dude the whole reason boxing went to shit is because of all those weight divisions and multiple titles. It's hard to keep up with. I myself think the 165 div is a terrible idea. It undermines 170 when there's another title holder that is only a title holder because of a 5 pound weight difference. And also what makes you think Kamaru wouldn't cut the extra 5 pounds and get that 165 title too? Covington walks around lighter than Porier and that dude fights at 155. If Covington believes 170 is too big for him he is more than welcome to make the 155 weight limit.

@@0326Vet they will never ever make a 165 pound division. Dana white has said if he makes a 165 pound division than he has to change the 170 pound division to at least 175 because having weight classes divided by 5 pounds is pointless.

@@colincroft7038 I know but 175 is better for the bigger 170 pounders and the 165 pound division is better for the smaller ones and the bigger 155 pounders, the division would house guys like Nate Diaz, Poirer(if he loses to Charles or Justin), Jorge, Chiesa, Edwards and 175 would be really good as well, it'd probably house Whittaker if he loses to Izzy again, Till, Wonderboy, Khamzat, Luque, Holland

Bullshit!! Dana always make fights after a fight! However, he's trying to keep his options available, so that he can booked another possible fight if it's means more money. I believe Gaethje deserves a title fight next!! He earned it after this fight with Chandler. Awesome fight!!

Chandler was champ in other organizations proving he can hang with top guys. Chimaev hasn’t fought in other organizations, he’s still brand new to professional MMA fights.

Yeah man I would have bought the Canelo PPV if it wasn’t on same night as this stacked UFC card. Wasn’t about to miss this fully stacked card for what in essence was another weak boxing card with a one sided main event where you know who is going to win. Boxing just continues doing it wrong and goes up against UFC which hurts both. So I watched the Canelo KO over Plant as a highlight and that’s that

Well in historical context, I would say that the Canelo fight was more "legendary". The first ever mexican undisputed champ, the first undisputed champ at 168, an all time great in the making. I was recently reading an article where they were talking about hypothetical fights between Canelo vs Sugar Ray Robinson and Canelo vs Hagler. I don't know man, I chose to buy the Canelo fight simply based on the historical context of it.

I watched the fight and thought Rose won. Albeit, a close one, she had highest punches landed and the two rounds she had prominent position on ground (and trying to advance position). I thought it was close but that 5th round Rose got it.

Why do people overvalue win streaks in general when most of those fights are against unranked fighters? The only win streak that matters is consecutive titles won. And GSP has 12 in a row. Usman is at 6. Maybe he'll surpass GSP. But he's only half way there right now.
