@@-----------g-he’s been the only guy to maintain cage pressure against Izzy, with the exception of Alex. Alex won the first fight with pressure, lost the second cause he stung Izzy then got wild and countered for being defensively irresponsible. Look at any of Izzy’s other fights, people have him against the cage backing up, then they back off and reset at the center of the octagon for no reason, other than Izzy “snake charming”. He seems like he’s dangerous there but he’s really not, unless he gets a counter off in a wild exchange. Sean stayed square and initiated simple combos that allowed him to reset inside the pocket, and he threw longer combos when he got some stings in off the 1-2 but reset immediately when he saw Izzy load up. I think people will start pressuring Izzy now and expose that flaw he had

Boxing has had 100+ years to develop and mma is what at like 30 years in development? Thinking about where MMA could go in the next 70 years is crazy, definitely made more progress in less time than boxing. PLUS losses in mma are not scene as shameful as in boxing. Often a boxer is only as good as their 0

Absolutely LOVED watching Strickland dogwalk izzy for 5 rds

If Justin could improve his ground game (then again, only aces have submitted him) his boxing has improved so dramatically from his frantic swinging and taking a good hit to the head, now he's cleaned it up and it's some of the best I've seen a fighter truly reinvent themselves when a few years ago he said he only had 5 fights left in him.

@@bigchill5835 yes tbh its the reason i started down a some what mma training i rented these videoes as i was the biggest/fat kid in the elemetary school and there was 1 other big kid who was the school bully even to the point of bullying the big soft me saw these videos rented them joined karate classes eventually fought the school bully after watching UFC so a year later 95' is when i fought the school bully after gaining enough courage to say no more got into wrestling a a lil BJJ like most i was never the victim of bullying again ty bigchill for reminding me of where i started stickin up for myself i wasn't a short/small fat kid either i think i was like 5'10 180lbs i'm currently standing 6'2 went up to 340lbs. in my early 20's now at 215lbs. so we gucci fam training = good for weight loss =)

Me too. I've never seen anyone face Izzy so confidently. Sean Strickland was defensively disciplined and faced Izzy head on fearlessly

The Lawler sendoff was nothing short of perfect. True legend of the sport. Probably put him infront of almost anyone that night and they were getting smoked.

Seeing Robbie dispose of his opponent so quickly and so accurately makes me believe that he has atleast one more year left in him but ya know what props to the guy hes a legend of the sport for sure.

I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ve ever felt as strongly about a win and a fighter as much as I do with Sean Strickland. It just was euphoric almost. I wasn’t really rooting for him but when I felt the way I did I watching that fight and then when I cried my eyes out all of a sudden I realized Sean was my champion.

Can't wait to see some fights again .

What about the Korean Zombie's retirement? He deserved to be there... Plus the crowd singing at the top of their lungs made it as emotional as it could've gotten! Also, even though I love Alex Pereira, I'm so happy he's the champ, I still believe that stoppage was ass. I would've love to see 5 rounds of Jiri and Poatan technical striking, or a more spectacular and undisputable finish. There's a taste of unfinished business when it comes to that fight, such a shame...

One match I would have loved to see if they were the same size is Strickland Vs Holloway, I feel like they both utilize that slick boxing and pressure in their styles.

i remember during strickland vs adesanya the whole tavern was going nuts the whole fight, i dont think i've ever seen an atmosphere at any venue like i saw at the tavern during that fight, it was amazing
