I've notice that about him when he's behind. His corner needs to tell him to step it up. I gave him the 2nd round but it was really close.

Finally fights an actual striker, get repeatedly cracked on the feet. Lays on top of MVP out of desperation, landing zero submissions and zero ground and pound. Literally laying on him. I understand that control time impacts the scores and that Ian won because of this, but in my opinion, 10 minutes of unsuccessful grappling will never equate to delivering 20-30 hard punches/kicks to the face. I love dominant grappling that results in subs or ground and pound, but what Ian did was cowardly and wasted a huge fight that the fans were excited for. I'd make him fight down in the rankings after that.
