Israel Adesanya's Championship Reign
Спорт
After making his debut back in 2018, UFC middleweight Israel Adesanya climbed the standings defeating opponent after opponent until claiming the belt in 2019 after securing the win over Robert Whittaker at UFC 243. Adesanya hopes too once again prove he is king of the middleweight division as he faces Whittaker in a rematch bout at UFC 271 on February 12.

A generational fighter.... We just have to enjoy his reign none like him till he retires big up the king of MW.... 👑💯
is it me or does Izzy bust out some of his best moves before stepping into the octagon 😅
I love the vitory fight because the belt was around his waist before it was announced.. you can tell Bruce lost a little bit of wind in his announcement

Romero shouldn't have even gotten the title shot against Adesanya anyway. He was a on a two fight losing streak after all.

@@BigDub24 Doesn't matter. If you can't find someone in the top 5 to give the title shot, find someone in the top 10 with a winning streak instead. If not then go top 15. That's how rankings are supposed to work in theory, but in practice they rarely do.

@@madgavin7568 yeah but those fights were razor close and Yoel arguably could’ve won, he even could’ve won the Izzy fight that’s why they gave him the fight no one outside of the top 5 would’ve given Izzy that much of a challenge
Put the fight against Jan Blachowicz to see him geting destroyed
The end of the vettori fight though 🤣🤣
This dude is good(understatement), committed, versatile and fights smart. He's fun to watch.
Yo, he totally nullified Romero. People hate on that fight but he straight up memorized Romero into doing nothing. Romero had nothing for him. I will always be impressed with that fight even with how much people think it as boring.

Izzy really weakened his leg and that will ruin your whole game. Slower to move, feeling off balance. Yoel couldnt do much after all that

Well to be fair, Whittaker beat most of those guys too and also beat Jacare, Till, and Cannonier. But he will probably lose again.
This fight with Israel brought tears to my eyes
Favorite fighter, love the struggle.
Israel is a true Martial Artist! Dude has reached Goat status and is still peaking.
Appreciate him while he’s still here folks. Put your ego aside. 😇

Hey now, Bobby is good enough to beat Izzy, if he has a bad day.. and everyone can have a bad day.
What I see from him. He is well rounded. Different for sure. There is nobody like him. He's 1 of a kind. He's a vet that's seriously experienced in the world of fighting. He's awesome 👌 a great performer, dancer, lol.
