    He also has random lapses of discipline/judgement that have cost him very winnable fights in the past (Silva, Browne, Rothwell).

    Good point but Reem is elusive nowadays. Jackson Wink teaching him to punch and run and also use leg kicks to keep opponent at bay. I was surprised when he beat Dos Santos. Santos was my guy. Im still disappointed in him, somewhere Junior just went downhill. Sad

  • @simonemartini4754

    @simonemartini4754

    7 жыл бұрын

    I'm not sure Dos Santos ever changed that much. Maybe he got somewhat slower with age but mainly I think it is other fighters that have learned to take advantage of his flawed tendencies, such as his exposed lead leg, the lack of lateral movement and tendency to back straight into the fence. He showed some improvements in these last two in his fight with Rothwell, however.

  • @roystonito

    Joe's voice is raspy, throaty and sounds like it has phlegm in it a third of the time (check out his podcast incessant throat clearings) but his honesty, knowledge and willingness to say the hard truths made him only replaceable by Chael if Dana and him can hug it out. He's annoying, yes. But I think he is the only one. Hardy or Stann for partner.

  • @areuswhite9670

    @areuswhite9670

    Royston Dorsa Joe does have that kind of voice, but that voice clearing he has blamed on this drink that he drinks during podcasts, and he's vowed to stop drinking it during broadcast. Either way, I understand your point. Liking and not liking voices is very up to each person. Personally I would not like Chael, but you would, and theres no right or wrong.

    I'm Brazilian and a big fan of Overeem since Pride. I hope he beats Miocic and become champion. My favorite of his fights was Overeem vs Arona, on Pride go watch that, it was when he started to get big, he lost that by the way but i'm also a fan of Ricardo Arona. Anyways he's one of the best strikers in the UFC. The problem is that he is fighting THE most volatile division in the UFC... Fun fact: No heavyweight champion in history of the UFC successfully defended his title more than twice in a row. (Let that sink in for a moment.) Any given sunday a Travis Browne can knock out a Alistair Overeem. All it takes is one good strike that connects and BOOM ITS ALL OVER. So yeah HW knock each other out. THAT HAPPENS. Fans need to stop acting like a fighter's career is over after he stacks a few losses in the most volatile division in the UFC.

    Miocic's close range punching technique has the motion of cutting grass with a scythe. If you ever used one of those awesome weapons you know what i'm talking about.

    Boxing range is the same as knee strike range, no? If Stipe doesn't really use wrestling feints like Dan said, then "boxing range" is just as dangerous as long range.

    guys as simple as that , Miocic is very very dangerous in close fight , Alister like to hit the oponents in close fight to , but if miocic can knock the f out verdum with one punch , i can imagine what will happend to Alister , so yeah Miocic win by brutal knock out , the only problem of Miocic is He cant fight tall ppl ...

    Reem is a different fighter than he was before movong to Greg Jackson. He lost the crazy muscle and is using his superior skill set. I think this fight will look similar to Reem vs JDS

    Overeem can do more without all that muscle holding him back. Now he can fight a full 5 rounds at a decent pace without running out of gas. You need more gas to fight the new breed of quicker heavyweights like Stipe, Cain, and JDS. If he was just fighting slow unathletic far guys like Mark Hunt, Big Foot Silva, Frank Mir, Roy Nelson etc he wouldn't have had to slim down.

    Dan Hardy legit might be GOAT fight analyzer. I don't even know who you could put in the same bracket as him... Robin Black is really great but Dan Hardy is on a whole other level it's like Robin Black is DC and Dan Hardy is Jon Jones....
